Founded by the visionary Swami Prem Parivartan, also known as Peepal Baba, Give Me Trees Trust is a trailblazing not-for-profit organization committed to afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and environmental education. Since its inception in 2011, the trust has transformed 2,70,000 hectares of land into lush green spaces, creating 270+ mini forests that are now thriving ecosystems.
Peepal Baba’s dedication has seen over 1.27 crore Peepal trees planted across India, making GMTT the largest tree planter in the country. The trust’s extensive work spans afforestation programs, grassland and pond restoration, vermicomposting, environmental education, and water harvesting structures.
In collaboration with CMA CGM, GMTT orchestrated a Tree Plantation Drive at Neem Karoli, Chattarpur, where 500 trees, including Peepal, Pilkhan, Moringa, and more, were planted. The site’s maintenance involves various care activities, ensuring the survival of the plants. Additionally, GMTT conducted nature education workshops for CMA CGM employees, fostering engagement, with socio-economic, human, and environmental benefits echoing through the green spaces they create. Through its impactful initiatives, GMTT stands as a beacon in India’s journey towards a greener, sustainable future.
