GSV’s 2nd Convocation saw 239 graduates honored, with key leaders announcing major developments and goals for the university’s future.
Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) held its 2nd Convocation ceremony, where 239 students were awarded degrees in the esteemed presence of distinguished leaders. The Chief Guest, Bhupendra Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, urged graduates to dedicate themselves to the development of a “Viksit Bharat” during the Kartvya Kaal period. He also announced a 31-hectare land grant for GSV’s expansion.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. Hemang Joshi, MP of Vadodara, emphasised the need to develop Vadodara as a semiconductor R&D design hub to complement semiconductor manufacturing in Gujarat and India.
The ceremony was presided over by Hon. Chancellor Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, who highlighted GSV’s industry-driven approach, particularly in the transportation and logistics sectors. He set a goal for GSV to rank among the top universities globally.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary presented the university’s progress report, and gold medals were awarded to top-performing students, including Ritik T. Rajnandni, Ujjwal Baghel, Shambhavi Patel, and Yash Gupta.
