Dubai-based government-owned global port operator, DP World, appointed Ashwani Nath as its Chief Commercial Officer. Nath will handle the logistics business and lead the commercial division for the firm’s Indian subcontinent. The firm, known among the top port operators in the world, is focusing on end-to-end logistics to boost growth.
This is a new role recently created by DP World to diversify its service offerings and provide integrated logistics solutions. Nath has over 35 years of experience and has held senior positions in companies like India, Sri Lanka, France, Netherlands, and Italy.
He is a versatile leader known for optimising operational efficacy. He has led business development and established market leadership in many businesses. He spearheaded innovation to forge a stronger partnership with important C-suite clients, established new business verticals, and turned around existing businesses with his outstanding project management skills. He will develop relevant solutions to boost trade flow for DP World as the company strives to navigate the complexities of global trade to serve its customers.
