DHL and Envision collaborate on logistics, SAF, green energy, and net-zero industrial parks.
DHL Group and Envision Group have signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement aimed at advancing sustainable logistics and energy solutions. The collaboration will focus on four main areas: logistics solutions, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), green energy, and the development of a “Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park.”
Under this agreement, Envision will provide DHL with SAF, crucial for reducing carbon emissions in air transportation. DHL aims to increase its SAF mix to 30 percent by 2030, leveraging Envision’s expertise to achieve this target. Envision will also explore renewable feedstock sources to further decarbonize the aviation sector.
DHL will become Envision’s preferred logistics partner, supporting Envision’s international expansion and green energy goals. Together, they will develop the “Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park,” integrating clean energy solutions and fostering green industrial ecosystems. This initiative will enhance the global green transition by providing innovative solutions for zero-carbon transformation.
Tobias Meyer, CEO of DHL Group, emphasised the partnership’s role in setting new benchmarks for sustainable innovation, while Lei Zhang, Chairman of Envision Group, highlighted the potential to revolutionise SAF production and support global carbon neutrality efforts.
