Vipin Vohra, Chairman of Continental Carriers, received the award from Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of State for MSME, Government of India, and B.B. Swain, Secretary of MSME, Government of India.
Continental Carriers was named the “FICCI-MSME Ecosystem Award” winner for being the best supplier or service provider for MSMEs on December 5, 2022, at the annual MSME summit 2022 held at FICCI-Federation House in New Delhi.
The MSME sector has long served as the foundation and engine of the nation’s economic progress. The industry has frequently shown its strength and tenacity in trying times. Despite several obstacles, particularly during the COVID pandemic, the MSME sector persevered and adapted new business strategies.
Although MSMEs perform admirably, they continue to face constraints of knowledge, resources, and access to new markets. The main barriers to sustainability for MSMEs have been a lack of resources and knowledge.
Recently, the government changed its policies and introduced a number of programs to help MSMEs.
The MSME wing of FICCI, FICCI-CMSME, acknowledges the significance of MSMEs’ growth patterns in attaining sustainable development. The Annual MSME Summit 2022, with the theme “Pushing Sustainable MSME Growth in India,” was organised by FICCI-CMSME with this in mind.
