The Air Cargo Agents Association of India has commenced its 50th Annual Convention in Goa, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers and stakeholders for a landmark Golden Jubilee celebration.
The 50th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India commenced in Goa on September 25, 2026, marking the association’s Golden Jubilee. The convention opened with a ceremonial lamp lighting in the presence of Chief Guest, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Governor of Goa, alongside Shri Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy; Shri Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Industries, Trade and Commerce and Transport, Government of Goa and Shri Bipin Upadhyay, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, Goa.
ACAAI President, Mr. Samir J. Shah addressed the gathering, reflecting on the association’s five-decade journey and the opportunities and priorities ahead for India’s air cargo and logistics ecosystem. A special highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the launch of the Golden Jubilee Souvenir commemorating ACAAI’s 50-year journey.
The convention is themed “Made in India, Moved by India- Building the Logistics Ecosystem for a Trillion-Dollar Trade” and provides a platform for industry leaders, policymakers and stakeholders to discuss opportunities and priorities shaping India’s logistics future.
Shri Shripad Naik spoke on the importance of infrastructure, connectivity and sustainable development in supporting India’s economic growth and global trade position. Shri Mauvin Godinho highlighted Goa’s growing role in trade, tourism, infrastructure and connectivity, while Shri Bipin Upadhyay spoke from the customs perspective on the importance of efficient processes and stronger coordination among stakeholders to support smoother cargo movement. The 50th ACAAI Convention continues in Goa until September 28, 2026.
