State partners with Logistics Shakti Enterprise to strengthen exports and cold chain.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Logistics Shakti Enterprise (LSE) to strengthen the state’s perishable logistics, air cargo and export ecosystem. The agreement was signed during the 7th ACFI World Conclave 2026 and establishes a framework for collaboration on policy development, industry participation, investment facilitation and implementation support. The partnership will focus on developing cold chain infrastructure, air cargo, multimodal logistics and agricultural and food exports while improving access to international markets.
The collaboration builds on Uttar Pradesh’s growing logistics network and the development of Noida International Airport at Jewar, which will feature 22,000 square metres of cargo warehouse space and two dedicated freighter bays operating round the clock. The MoU also proposes the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for perishable logistics, export competitiveness and global market access to support research, technology adoption, skill development and industry collaboration.
As part of the agreement, the two sides will also explore the development of an integrated Jewar Aero Logistics and Perishable Export Hub. The proposed project will include feasibility studies, detailed project reports, business planning and investment strategy to enhance the movement of perishable goods through integrated air cargo, cold chain, warehousing and export infrastructure.
Under the partnership, Logistics Shakti Enterprise will act as the Strategic Knowledge, Industry Engagement and Implementation Partner. It will provide policy and research support, develop strategic roadmaps and facilitate engagement with investors, industry associations, logistics operators, airlines, airports, exporters and technology providers. The non-financial MoU will remain valid for five years and may be renewed through mutual written consent.
