London visit will focus on implementation of India-UK trade pact.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal will visit London from June 25 to 27, 2026, ahead of the entry into force of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement and the Double Contribution Convention on July 15, 2026. During the visit, he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade Rt Hon Peter Kyle to review preparations for the implementation of the two agreements.
According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the discussions will focus on regulatory alignment, customs coordination and administrative arrangements required for the operationalisation of the trade pact and the social security convention. Shri Goyal will also participate in a series of government-to-business engagements in London, including events organised by the India Global Forum, the UK-India Business Council and Asia House, alongside meetings with business leaders and investors to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties.
