Air Cargo Forum India opens Andhra Pradesh Chapter in Visakhapatnam with key policy discussions.

The Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) has officially launched its Andhra Pradesh Chapter in Visakhapatnam, inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
The event was attended by Sri B.C. Janardhan Reddy, Minister for Infrastructure & Investment, and Sri T.G. Bharat, Minister for Industries & Commerce, drawing over 350 delegates from logistics, trade, and industry.
The launch marks a major milestone in positioning Andhra Pradesh as a growing hub for air cargo and logistics on India’s eastern coast. During the proceedings, ACFI leaders held a CEO Roundtable to address pressing industry concerns, including the Open Sky Policy and Double Dipping. ACFI President Sanjiv Edward and Chairman for Outreach & Partnerships, Satish Lakkaraju, made strong representations, which received positive response from the Chief Minister.
The new chapter aims to promote regional air cargo growth, enhance multimodal logistics connectivity, and strengthen trade facilitation, aligning with the state’s logistics development vision.
