EndureAir has delivered the Sabal 20 logistics drone to the Indian Army, enhancing operations in challenging terrains.
Private drone manufacturer EndureAir has delivered its advanced Sabal 20 logistics drone to the Indian Army’s Eastern theatre, marking a significant step towards modernising military logistics. Designed for aerial logistics, the Sabal 20 can carry up to 20 kilograms of supplies, making it ideal for military operations in difficult and remote areas where traditional transport methods face limitations.
The drone boasts features such as vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) technology, allowing it to operate in confined spaces and rough terrains. Its tandem rotor configuration provides superior load-carrying capacity and stability, similar to the Chinook helicopter, enabling effective operations at high altitudes. With a low RPM design, the Sabal 20 also offers stealth capabilities, crucial for sensitive military operations.
Dr. Abhishek, Director and Co-founder of EndureAir, emphasised the company’s commitment to India’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives, supporting self-reliance in defense technology. The drone’s adoption enhances the Army’s logistical efficiency and operational reach.
