Skye Air raises $4M in Series A to enhance last-mile delivery in key sectors.
Skye Air, a SaaS-based autonomous logistics solution provider, has successfully raised $4 million in its Series A funding round. The investment was led by Mount Judi Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Venture Catalyst, Windrose Capital, and Tremis Capital, with additional support from Faad Capital, Misfits Capital, Hyderabad Angels, Soonicorn Ventures, and other investors.
This new funding follows Skye Air’s earlier seed round in November 2022, where the company secured $1.7 million, primarily led by Chiratae Ventures. The latest capital infusion is aimed at expanding Skye Air’s last-mile delivery network in Gurugram and other cities, targeting sectors such as healthcare, e-commerce, and quick-commerce.
Founded by Ankit Kumar and Chandra Prakash, Skye Air is committed to developing sustainable last-mile logistics solutions for the healthcare, e-commerce, quick-commerce, and food industries. The Delhi-NCR-based firm is pioneering the integration of drone deliveries into mainstream logistics, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
A notable innovation from Skye Air is Skye UTM, an advanced unmanned traffic management system. This system manages drone traffic, ensures operational safety, and facilitates efficient communication between drones and air traffic controls, positioning Skye Air at the forefront of drone logistics technology.
