The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) successfully hosted the 2nd Rail India Forum on “India’s Railways Vision 2030 and Viksit Bharat 2047” at Hotel Le Méridien, New Delhi. The event served as a key platform for leaders, policymakers, and experts to deliberate on Indian Railways’ modernisation and its pivotal role in achieving a developed India by 2047.
The forum commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and inspiring keynote addresses by prominent dignitaries, including Abhyuday Jindal (President, ICC), Surendra Ahirwar (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce), and Vikash Lohia (Chairman, National Railway Committee ICC).
Three panel discussions explored critical themes: Transforming Connectivity in Modernising Indian Railways, Rail Infrastructure Development & Investment Pathways, and Sustainable Technology & Innovation in Railways 2.0.
The forum emphasised sustainability, infrastructure growth, and technological advancements, underscoring Indian Railways’ role as a driving force for national development.
