Zebra Technologies expands its India channel strategy to bring digital automation solutions to small and medium enterprises in manufacturing and retail.

Zebra Technologies has announced an expanded channel strategy targeting India’s micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) segment, with a focus on the manufacturing and retail sectors. The announcement was made at the company’s India Partner Summit in Goa and coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Zebra PartnerConnect programme, which now unites more than 10,000 global partners. The expanded strategy enables Indian partners to leverage Zebra’s Mid-Market programme within PartnerConnect, providing resellers with resources to address the complex needs of customers in both verticals.
India is home to more than 70 million MSMEs, contributing approximately 31 per cent of national GDP and nearly 49 per cent of exports, with 97 per cent of registered businesses classified as micro-enterprises. Zebra positions this as a significant opportunity for businesses to move directly from manual operations to AI-enabled, connected workflows without passing through traditional development stages. Subramaniam Thiruppathi, Country Lead for India and the Subcontinent at Zebra Technologies, said businesses must adopt “purpose-built, future-proof tech solutions that can grow alongside them” and described the partner-led approach as central to helping MSMEs evolve into “connected, intelligent enterprises capable of scaling upwards efficiently”.
