TVS SCS to manage end-to-end in-plant logistics at JCB’s Vadodara facility for three years.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has won a multi-year contract from JCB to manage in-plant warehousing and logistics at JCB’s Vadodara facility in Gujarat. This three-year contract marks an extension of TVS SCS’s long-standing relationship with JCB, who has been a client for over two decades, with TVS SCS providing aftermarket warehouse services in Bhaproda, Haryana.
The contract, whose financial details remain undisclosed, involves comprehensive in-plant logistics services. TVS SCS will handle end-to-end warehouse management, including the unloading and put-away of parts, picking, and lineside feeding at JCB’s Vadodara plant. This facility manufactures fabrications and components for JCB’s global plants, necessitating efficient logistics and inventory management.
To fulfill the contract, TVS SCS will deploy Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and employ approximately 110 personnel, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to JCB’s high standards of quality and efficiency. This strategic partnership underscores TVS SCS’s capability in delivering robust logistics solutions and further cements its position as a key player in the global supply chain landscape.
