Triton Logistics & Maritime visits ports and depots across India to recognise the workers powering global supply chains ahead of World Labour Day.

Triton Logistics & Maritime, part of the ABRAO Group and a global end-to-end logistics and multimodal transport operator, marked World Labour Day by stepping away from the boardroom to visit its ports and depot locations across India. The initiative saw the company engage directly with port workers, depot staff and ground crews, listening to the people who keep supply chains moving amid mounting operational pressures.
The visits come against a backdrop of ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, which have created significant uncertainty across one of the world’s most vital trade corridors. The situation has contributed to vessel delays, rising freight costs and widespread supply chain disruptions for exporters and importers alike. It is in this environment that Triton’s frontline workforce continues to manage cargo backlogs and navigate complex operations under extraordinary pressure.
Speaking on the initiative, Jitendra Srivastava, CEO of Triton Logistics & Maritime, said the real story of Indian logistics is told at the port gate, on the cargo floor and inside the depots where workers show up every single day regardless of the global situation.
Priyadarshani Jain, Head of Branding and Communication, added that every milestone the company reaches is a debt paid to the people it enables, describing the supply chain as a sequence of human hands rather than data points. Through this initiative, Triton Logistics & Maritime reiterates its commitment to recognising the human force behind every shipment and connection across global trade.
