The International Federation of Customs Brokers Associations, commonly known as the IFCBA, recently organised a conference in Delhi – “Reconnecting with Resilience.” It focused on discussing the facilitation measures and different areas of redressal forums, the customs initijatives taken by India, as well as the Customs Act, which completed its 60-year history in the recent past.
It witnessed some of the finest speakers from the industry, including Vikrant Gogia, Executive Committee Member of FFFAI who spoke on “Trade facilitation measures by Customs.” Some of the other topics spoken about during the conference included the impact of a harmonised system of tariff classification, HS Classification Group challenges, the WCO, and Private Sector Consultative Groups.
It was a well-organized and successful conference that received praise from the FFFAI for its efforts.
