NICDC Logistics Data Services (NLDSL) has announced the launch of Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) Hackathon 2.0, an event aimed at promoting innovation in India’s logistics industry. The launch, chaired by Rajeev Singh Thakur, Additional Secretary of DPIIT, took place at Vanijya Bhawan with over 1800 attendees, both physically and virtually.
Hackathon 2.0 builds on the success of its predecessor, inviting developers and start-ups to tackle challenges like sustainability, supply chain complexities, unified documentation, and multimodal logistics optimization. Thakur emphasised the hackathon’s potential to reshape India’s logistics sector through creative problem-solving and collaboration.
In addition, NLDSL launched the Track Your Transport (TYT) app, powered by ULIP, designed to support small-scale transporters and traders by enabling cost-effective cargo tracking and vehicle verification. Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD of NICDC, called it a milestone in empowering small traders to enhance efficiency and compete effectively in the logistics market.
