Navratan Foundation recently honoured a national hero while reinforcing its commitment to education and community development.
On the 25th martyrdom anniversary of Captain Vijayant Thapar, Noida Haat hosted a memorable Shaurya Diwas, organised by Navratan Foundation in collaboration with the ITE group and various active NGOs. The event paid heartfelt tributes to Captain Thapar, with contributions from Noida’s social and political organisations, residents, ex-servicemen, and community leaders.
Colonel VN Thapar spoke on the importance of honouring martyrs’ families continuously and inspiring future generations with their stories. Dr. Ankur Sharan, a renowned socialpreneur and supply chain professional, highlighted the impact of collaborative community efforts in fostering positive change.
In a notable development, Navratan Foundation inaugurated its 12th computer education center at the New Community Center in Nithari. This center, dedicated to the memory of Dr. A.B.L. Srivastava, aims to provide essential computer skills to economically disadvantaged individuals. The opening ceremony, attended by Dr. Ashok Srivastava, founder of Navratan Foudnation, and other esteemed guests, underscores Navratan Foundation’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities and supporting underprivileged communities.
This event, which both honours a national hero and advances educational initiatives, reflects Navratan Foundation’s dual dedication to commemorating sacrifice and fostering future growth.
In addition, Dr. Ashok, social activist Ranjan Tomar, and Dr. Ankur are closely working to lift all Active NGOs, a forum uniting over 100 non-governmental organisations, with the aim of fostering collaboration, sharing resources, and amplifying their collective impact on social issues.
