YEIDA plans a logistics park in Tappal with 12 warehouses and ₹640 crore investment.
Greater Noida is set to become a logistics hub as the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) prepares to develop a logistics park in Tappal. The project, sprawling across 250 acres, will feature 12 warehouses along with over six other storage facilities. An estimated ₹640 crore investment will drive this initiative, and YEIDA is gearing up to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) soon to invite companies for participation.
Chief Executive Officer Arunvir Singh highlighted that the park will generate over 10,000 employment opportunities. Strategically located near the Dadri container depot, the facility is expected to streamline exports for multiple districts in western Uttar Pradesh. Logistics parks like this function as advanced warehousing centers, significantly enhancing storage and distribution efficiency. The development marks a significant step towards boosting regional trade and infrastructure.
