India-Qatar Joint Business Forum aims to strengthen trade and economic ties, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and new industries.

The India-Qatar Joint Business Forum, held on 18th February 2025 in New Delhi, brought together key leaders from both nations to explore future economic collaboration. The event coincided with the visit of H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, to India. The forum focused on expanding bilateral trade beyond energy into sectors like AI, quantum computing, IoT, and semiconductors.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted India’s Vision 2047, emphasising self-reliance and innovation as key pillars of future growth. He invited Qatari businesses to tap into India’s growing economy and explore opportunities in sectors like digital transformation and manufacturing.
The forum also featured key discussions on collaboration in technology, renewable energy, and emerging industries such as electric vehicles. Two important MoUs were signed to boost business cooperation and investment flows, reinforcing the commitment to a sustainable, innovation-driven partnership between the two nations.
