The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will launch the IATA World Sustainability Symposium (WSS) in Madrid, Spain from October 3 to 4, 2023. This symposium will bring together global leaders, experts, and policymakers to discuss the aviation industry’s decarbonisation goals by 2050.
With a focus on sustainability strategy, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), government support, financing solutions, emissions measurement and reporting, non-CO2 emissions mitigation, and value chain collaboration, the WSS aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and advancements in these critical areas. Esteemed speakers, including industry leaders and academics, will share their insights during the event. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, the WSS aims to drive holistic sustainability in the aviation sector.
