Allcargo Group’s ESG 2023-24 report focuses on carbon neutrality by 2040 and sustainable innovations globally.
Allcargo Group has launched its ESG Report for 2023-24, themed “Charting Sustainable Pathways with Ingenuity.” The report outlines the Group’s ambitious plan to achieve carbon neutrality across scopes 1, 2, and 3 by 2040, highlighting initiatives in renewable energy, alternate fuel adoption, and corporate governance.
Key milestones include doubling renewable energy consumption and converting warehouse operations to fully electric material handling equipment. ECU Worldwide, a subsidiary, is pioneering sustainable shipping through renewable fuel options, reducing emissions for maritime transport by up to 100 percent.
The Group also emphasises social responsibility, contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, including quality education and community health. Allcargo Gati has set a target to transition its first and last-mile deliveries in India to alternative fuels by 2026.
With a quadrupled S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment score, the Group continues to lead ESG-driven innovation while ensuring compliance with global standards.
