Union Home Minister Amit Shah will unveil the LPMS digital platform for India’s 15 land ports in New Delhi on June 9, 2026, alongside new stakeholder facilities at Dawki and Srimantapur land ports.

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah will launch the Land Port Management System (LPMS) in New Delhi on June 9, 2026. The LPMS is a digital platform designed to integrate operations across India’s land ports into a unified system, enabling secure real-time exchange of logistics and regulatory information and bringing land ports to the same level of digital capability as airports and seaports.
The system will introduce end-to-end digital workflows for cargo and passenger processing, including slot booking, payments, tracking and single-window clearances. LPMS is fully integrated with key national platforms including ICEGATE, ULIP and the motor vehicle ecosystem, enabling interoperable, efficient and transparent border management. On the same occasion, Shah will also inaugurate newly developed stakeholder accommodation facilities at the Dawki land port in Meghalaya and the Srimantapur land port in Tripura.
The Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI), a statutory body under the Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, is responsible for developing and managing land ports to facilitate trade, connectivity and regional cooperation.
LPAI currently operates 15 land ports across India’s international borders: Attari and Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab along the India–Pakistan border; Rupaidiha in Uttar Pradesh and Raxaul and Jogbani in Bihar along the India–Nepal border; Darranga in Assam along the India–Bhutan border; Petrapole in West Bengal, Dawki in Meghalaya, Sutarkandi, Golakganj and Mankachar in Assam and Agartala, Srimantapur and Sabroom in Tripura along the India–Bangladesh border; and Moreh in Manipur along the India–Myanmar border.
