Global intra-city delivery platform Borzo has named Darryl Dias as its Country Head- India, a move that underscores the company’s deepening commitment to one of the world’s most dynamic logistics markets.
India has firmly established itself as Borzo’s largest and fastest-growing market, accounting for nearly 65% of the company’s global gross merchandise value (GMV) and more than 75% of total deliveries across its worldwide operations. Against this backdrop, the appointment carries significant strategic weight.
Alina Kisina, CEO of Borzo, highlighted that India’s vast SME ecosystem and its rapidly evolving commerce landscape make it a cornerstone of the company’s global growth strategy. She expressed confidence that Dias’s hands-on operational experience and deep-rooted understanding of India’s logistics sector position him well to drive the next phase of expansion in India.
In his new capacity, Dias will oversee Borzo’s India operations, with a clear mandate to fuel growth, enhance operational efficiency, and widen the company’s footprint within the on-demand delivery space. Additionally, another key priority will be to strengthen the SME customer base and position India as a robust, standalone business unit for Borzo.
