Teleport has introduced Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) as a new European gateway, strengthening its cargo network and improving connectivity between Asia and key European markets including Frankfurt and Amsterdam.

The addition of Istanbul as a strategic hub is expected to significantly improve cargo flows from China, India, and Southeast Asia into Europe, offering more efficient routing options and greater flexibility in managing long-haul shipments across the network.
The expansion has been enabled through Teleport’s partnership with Turkish Cargo, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to scale its global network. A recent shipment demonstrated the route’s operational capability, with cargo transported from Vietnam to Frankfurt via Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Istanbul before reaching its final destination in Germany.
The Istanbul gateway addition reflects the growing importance of Turkey as a transit hub connecting Asian and European trade corridors, particularly as global logistics operators seek alternative routing options amid ongoing disruptions to traditional air and sea corridors in the Middle East region.
The move reinforces Teleport’s broader strategy of building a more resilient, flexible, and far-reaching global cargo network capable of serving the evolving demands of shippers across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
