ICD-Bawal enhances EXIM reach as ONE Line starts BL Point and rail links resume from key ports.

Northern India’s export-import ecosystem has received a major boost with ICD-Bawal, Sanjvik Terminals, announcing two key developments: the commencement of BL Point operations by Ocean Network Express (ONE) Line and the resumption of EXIM rail services connecting major seaports.
Owned by Om Logistics, ICD-Bawal has become a critical hub for EXIM trade, particularly serving automobile and white goods manufacturers concentrated in the Korean and Japanese industrial belt of North India. The launch of ONE Line’s BL Point operations marks a significant milestone, providing direct, reliable, and efficient documentation and service support for exporters and importers.
ONE Line, among the world’s largest shipping companies, now enables customers to issue Bills of Lading (BL) directly from ICD-Bawal, cutting down transit times and enhancing cargo visibility. This development strengthens the terminal’s role in facilitating seamless global trade access for North India’s industries.
Adding further momentum, ICD-Bawal has resumed EXIM rail connectivity with key seaports, Mundra, Pipavav, and JNPT, in collaboration with Pristine Logistics & Infraprojects, a major rail operator with a fleet of over 80 rakes. The renewed rail service supports faster, more cost-effective cargo movement, reducing road congestion and transit delays.
Located within the Gati Shakti terminal catchment area, ICD-Bawal also benefits from double-stack train movement, improving turnaround times and fuel efficiency. These operational upgrades have already translated into record-high TEU handling in September 2025, underlining the facility’s growing trade significance.
“ICD-Bawal is evolving into a key logistics hub for Northern India’s EXIM trade,” said a senior Sanjvik Terminals official. “Our partnership with global and domestic players underscores our commitment to delivering efficiency, sustainability, and customer-centric solutions.”
With its advanced infrastructure, process-driven operations, and customer-first approach, Sanjvik Terminals continues to reinforce ICD-Bawal’s position as a preferred inland container destination. Together, the new ONE Line partnership and rail service revival reflect India’s broader effort to strengthen multimodal logistics and expand global trade connectivity.
