On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Air Cargo Club of Delhi (ACCD) hosted a successful lunch event at the Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza in Mahipalpur, New Delhi. The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking, learning, and community engagement.
The afternoon began with a warm reception over tea and coffee, creating a friendly atmosphere. ACCD President Sumit Mathur delivered a compelling welcome address, emphasizing the significance of such gatherings in building professional relationships and advancing the industry. His speech highlighted the shared vision and collective efforts within the community.
The formal proceedings included a moment of silence to honour the late member, Sunil Syal, led by Honorary Secretary Manish Sharma. This was followed by an introduction of the distinguished guest speaker, Reena Asthana Khair, Senior Partner in International Trade & Indirect Taxation at Kochhar & Co. Advocates & Legal Consultants.
Khair’s presentation on “Efficient Logistics: Harnessing GST Benefits” provided valuable insights and practical advice on optimising logistics through GST. Her engaging talk led to an interactive Q&A session with attendees.
Following the presentation, Khair was felicitated by the president and office bearers, who expressed their gratitude for her contributions. The event also celebrated the strong connections within the industry as members engaged in meaningful discussions and idea-sharing.
