Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has commenced domestic cargo handling services at Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, becoming the official Operator & Management (O&M) service provider for the airport.
AISATS, in collaboration with AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company (AAICLAS), has initiated domestic cargo handling services at Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Airport. Operating as AISATS Ranchi Cargo Services, the company aims to enhance cargo throughput and service excellence at the airport.
Leveraging its expertise in air cargo handling and logistics, AISATS is dedicated to upgrading Ranchi Airport’s infrastructure for expedited freight movements and improved air cargo connectivity in the state of Jharkhand.
As the official Regulated Agent (RA) at Ranchi Airport, AISATS commits to robustly screening, labeling, and dispatching all cargo in line with global best practices. The company pledges efficient and seamless solutions for airlines’ cargo handling, processing, and warehousing needs at Ranchi, encompassing various cargo types such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, or machinery.
Sanjay Gupta, CEO of AISATS, expresses excitement about the partnership with AAICLAS and anticipates Ranchi Airport’s significant role in transporting India’s cargo globally. Gupta notes India’s rapid growth in the express delivery sector, projecting the Indian air freight market to reach $17.22 billion by 2028 with a 5.65 percent CAGR.
