World Transport Agency names Gerry Power as UK Country Director, enhancing its leadership team.
World Transport Agency, a company with a distinguished history spanning over 110 years in international freight and logistics, proudly announced the appointment of Gerry Power as the new UK Country Director.
Gerry Power brings over 33 years of extensive experience in international freight, having held key positions in Singapore, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Amsterdam, and the UK with prominent companies such as TNT, JSI Logistics, and Toll Group.
Before joining WTA, Gerry established the UK division of TMX Transform, an Australian supply chain consultancy. During his tenure at TMX Transform, he advised several of the UK’s largest retailers on enhancing supply chain efficiency through data simulation, automation, machine learning, AI, and warehouse volume modelling.
Gerry’s appointment follows WTA’s recent expansion, marked by the launch of their Dubai office led by Co-CEO John Sommer. This strategic move underscores WTA’s commitment to growth and innovation in the logistics sector.
