The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) takes a leap in industry education with the launch of the Air Cargo Training Library, a comprehensive platform connecting professionals with diverse training solutions.
The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has introduced the Air Cargo Training Library, a global platform facilitating access to a wide array of training courses within the industry. With listings contributed by members and partner educational institutions, the library covers technology, sustainability, safety and security, management, logistics, live animals, industry knowledge, global trade, dangerous goods, and air cargo.
Steven Polmans, Chair of TIACA, emphasised the alignment of the platform with their Sustainability Roadmap, promoting quality education, decent work, and contributing to economic growth. The open-access platform allows industry stakeholders to explore available training courses. TIACA members can list multiple courses free of charge, while non-members will pay a nominal fee for course listings.
Glyn Hughes, Director General, highlighted the significance of high-quality training in navigating the complexities of the modern air cargo industry. The Air Cargo Training Library serves as a valuable tool, simplifying the search for relevant training opportunities and inviting members and partners to contribute to the portal. The initiative aims to empower professionals, keeping them engaged and motivated for successful careers in the dynamic air cargo sector.
