Rajasthan government accelerates logistics hubs, industrial parks to boost business post-summit.
Following the success of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, the Rajasthan state government is ramping up efforts to establish new industrial nodes, logistics hubs, and a multi-modal logistics park to enhance ease of doing business and attract more investments.
Senior officials, led by Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (Industries), and Inderjeet Singh, Managing Director of RIICO, recently conducted site inspections near Jaipur to identify land for these projects. Locations in Manda, Phulera, and Bichoon were evaluated for their suitability for industrial and logistics development.
The state government is also focusing on a 67-hectare land parcel in Baghawas and aims to secure 200-250 hectares for logistics and industrial zones. The development will be fast-tracked under the new Land Aggregation Policy. Key industrial growth areas include the Dausa-Bandikui region, near the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, and Manda Extension, close to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. These developments will help streamline operations, reduce business costs, and make Rajasthan a prime destination for future investments.
