Lulu Group plans to establish food processing units, hypermarkets, and a shopping mall in Andhra Pradesh.
UAE-based Lulu Group International, led by Chairman and Managing Director Yusuffali MA, has announced plans to invest in Andhra Pradesh by setting up modern food processing and logistics centers, along with hypermarkets and a shopping mall. The announcement came after a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Yusuffali shared the news on social media platform X, describing the discussions as “fruitful.” The group will establish an international-standard shopping mall with an 8-screen IMAX multiplex in Vizag and hypermarkets in Vijayawada and Tirupati. Additionally, modern food processing and logistics facilities will be built in the state.
Naidu expressed his support, stating that the state government will extend full cooperation to the group’s projects. With a turnover of $8 billion, Lulu Group operates across 25 countries, spanning sectors like retail, hospitality, and real estate.
