Logistaas has expanded its transport management system (TMS) with the launch of Averroes AI, a suite of artificial intelligence capabilities for freight forwarders. The company said the new capabilities are embedded directly into its TMS, enabling users to access AI-powered tools within their existing workflows instead of through a separate application.
According to Logistaas, Averroes AI offers automated data extraction from bills of lading, air waybills and supplier invoices, shipment risk assessment, compliance checks against a freight forwarder’s operating procedures and an AI assistant to help users navigate the platform and its workflows. The company also said the AI suite is available across its platform, which supports freight forwarders in more than 80 countries.
