As the festive season approaches, Jeena & Company, a leader in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions, is preparing for a 10-20 percent increase in shipment volumes compared to last year. The company is implementing strategic workforce expansion and operational planning to manage the anticipated surge in demand.
Jeena has secured additional capacity for both domestic and international shipments, with 30 percent of its seasonal workforce sourced from tier 3 cities to ensure adequate manpower. This initiative supports the company’s commitment to inclusivity and enhancing opportunities in India’s logistics sector.
To manage the surge, Jeena is utilising 100 percent of its available warehouse space, including temporary facilities, ensuring swift turnaround times even during peak periods. CEO Prediman K Koul expressed confidence in their preparedness, highlighting the company’s proactive planning and strong customer partnerships as key factors in maintaining operational efficiency during the festive rush.
