IBS Software establishes a new AI center in Singapore to foster responsible AI use in travel and hospitality.
IBS Software, a major SaaS provider for the global travel sector, has introduced a Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Singapore. This initiative aims to advance AI-driven solutions while promoting ethical AI use across the travel and hospitality industries.
The newly established center will collaborate with product teams and customers to identify high-impact AI applications. A key focus will be on implementing responsible AI practices, ensuring user privacy, data security, and ethical usage.
Leading the CoE is George Varghese, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, and financial engineering. He joins IBS after heading AI/ML initiatives at Upskills.According to Varghese, the travel industry holds immense potential for AI innovation, with the CoE set to create data-driven solutions that will redefine customer experiences. Varghese will report directly to IBS Software’s Chief Technology Officer, Chris Branagan.
