IBS Software names Somit Goyal as CEO, replacing Anand Krishnan
IBS Software, a prominent SaaS solutions provider in the travel industry, has announced the appointment of Somit Goyal as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Goyal takes over from Anand Krishnan, who led the company since 2018 and recently moved on to become CEO of Cyncly.
Previously, Goyal was the President and COO of Pluralsight, where he managed product, engineering, and go-to-market functions. His extensive background includes leadership roles at major companies such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, and AOL. At Microsoft, he notably managed global sales for the Modern Work cloud business and served as Chief Operating Officer for the Public Sector.
V K Mathews, Executive Chairman of IBS Software, highlighted Goyal’s impressive track record in global SaaS businesses and his experience in leading diverse teams as key assets for the company’s growth. Goyal expressed enthusiasm about joining IBS Software, citing its strong product portfolio and talented team as pivotal factors in driving innovation within the travel industry.
Goyal, who holds an electrical engineering degree from IIT Delhi and an MBA from INSEAD, will report directly to Mathews.
