India fosters a business-friendly climate, prioritizing regulatory stability and SME growth for a robust economic future.

The government remains committed to fostering a conducive investment environment, ensuring regulatory stability, and improving the Ease of Doing Business in India, Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal stated during a virtual address at the Pune International Business Summit 2025. The event, hosted by the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture (MCCIA) on February 24, saw participation from over 20 countries, reflecting global confidence in India’s economic resilience.
Goyal highlighted that recent visits by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the USA and France have strengthened investment opportunities and international collaborations. He underscored the transformative role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in achieving Viksit Bharat.
The minister also emphasised key budgetary initiatives, including a ₹10,000 crore Fund of Funds for Startups and a ₹20,000 crore allocation for the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. He praised Pune’s innovation-driven growth, positioning it as a hub for fostering business and industry advancements.
