DP World has announced the appointment of Suresh Ramani as its Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics in the subcontinent.

DP World has appointed Suresh Ramani as the Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics in the subcontinent, a strategic move to strengthen its commitment to resilient and optimised supply chains. With over three decades of experience in sales, business development, product development, operations, and managing P&L, Ramani’s expertise spans across India, the Middle East, and African markets.
Ramani expressed his excitement about joining DP World, stating, “I am thrilled to contribute to DP World’s mission of transforming global trade, and look forward to providing innovative, integrated solutions to our customers while expanding our global relationships.”
DP World’s extensive multimodal logistics assets in India include five container freight stations, three free trade zones (in Nhava Sheva, Chennai, and Cochin), and seven rail-linked multimodal terminals. Additionally, it provides temperature-controlled warehousing and transport services with over five million square feet of space, positioning DP World as one of India’s largest private rail freight operators, with more than 100 owned rakes and over 16,000 containers.
