Blue Water Shipping and Cyan Renewables sign an MoU to enhance offshore wind logistics in Asia Pacific.
Danish logistics firm Blue Water Shipping has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Cyan Renewables to enhance logistical services and infrastructure for transporting offshore wind components in the Asia Pacific region. As the offshore wind sector anticipates rapid growth, the partnership aims to leverage combined expertise to develop comprehensive logistical solutions, including plans for establishing marshalling ports to support this burgeoning industry.
The collaboration draws upon Cyan Renewables’ extensive knowledge and connections within the offshore wind sector, alongside Blue Water’s experience in managing marshalling ports and maritime logistics. Together, the companies are committed to resolving critical logistical challenges, particularly in supplying essential components and efficiently supporting offshore wind installation and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities.
Jason Goh, Regional Managing Director, Asia at Blue Water, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasising its potential to foster sustainable growth in the offshore wind industry.
