Strategic agreement enhances air cargo handling, network expansion.

Atlas Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SATS and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to strengthen global cooperation and optimise cargo handling across key markets.
The agreement builds on existing partnerships, particularly in North America, where WFS manages operations for Atlas Air at eight major airports, including Chicago, Miami, and New York JFK. The collaboration will now extend to Singapore and Riyadh, covering warehouse services, freighter ramp handling, and crew transport.
This first-of-its-kind MoU integrates ground and cargo handling solutions to meet rising e-commerce and air freight demands. The companies will also develop digital tracking tools for better cargo visibility. Additionally, the partnership focuses on sustainability, with commitments to green logistics and low-carbon initiatives.Atlas Air Chief Strategy Officer Martin Drew highlighted the collaboration as a step toward greater efficiency and service quality, while SATS CEO Kerry Mok emphasised the potential for specialized, high-speed cargo solutions benefiting global customers.
