Direct integration lets forwarders manage ANA shipments in real time within CargoWise.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has become the first Japanese airline to go live on CargoWise, following a new direct data integration with logistics tech leader WiseTech Global. The move allows freight forwarders to seamlessly plan, book, confirm, and manage ANA air cargo shipments in real time—directly within the CargoWise platform—without needing to re-enter data or switch systems.
This integration, part of the CargoWise Carrier Connectivity Program, gives access to ANA Cargo’s flight schedules, capacity, pricing, and eBooking services for the entire CargoWise user base, which includes the world’s 25 largest global freight forwarders. DHL Global Forwarding was the first to benefit from the new capabilities, improving digital booking efficiency and enhancing customer service.
ANA’s offerings are also now listed on CargoWise’s AirlineConnect marketplace, enabling forwarders to compare multiple airline options and complete bookings through a single transaction.
Kenichi Wakiya, Executive VP of Cargo at ANA, emphasised the airline’s commitment to making cargo operations simpler and more efficient for forwarders using familiar platforms. Max Sauberschwarz of DHL Global Forwarding praised the integration for enhancing planning and service delivery. WiseTech’s Scott McCorquodale highlighted the importance of ANA’s connectivity given Japan’s strong role in high-tech global trade.
This collaboration is set to boost digital transformation in air cargo logistics, increasing speed, accuracy, and visibility across the supply chain.
