On February 23, 2024, AllMasters, a digital freight consolidation platform specialising in Less Than Container Load (LCL) exports, revealed an innovative solution to tackle challenges encountered by freight forwarders. The platform debuts a patented “Dynamic Distribution Model,” offering freight forwarders significant cost reductions along with real-time tracking capabilities.
During the launch event in Mumbai, TN Seetharaman, Co-founder of AllMasters, highlighted the platform’s potential in revolutionizing the logistics landscape. Despite Full Container Load (FCL) dominating global trade, LCL represents only 8 percent of sea freight but is projected to reach 250 million cubic meters by 2028 due to e-commerce growth.
Seetharaman acknowledged the challenges faced by freight forwarders in the competitive FCL market, emphasising the industry’s shift towards transactional models and the importance of credit in securing shipments. He noted the power disparity within the industry, with a few consolidators controlling 70 percent of the market.
In addition to the platform launch, AllMasters plans to introduce various products, including air freight services, innovative cold chain LCL cargo solutions, Less Than Truck Load (LTL) options, Haz Consol for hazardous cargo, tailored third-party integrations, and an AI-powered Container Load Plan software.
