Allcargo Group to reach 3000 scholarships by December 2024 under the Disha initiative in Mumbai and Mangalore.

Allcargo Group, a global logistics leader, is on track to provide more than 3000 scholarships by December 2024 through its Disha program, led by the Avashya Foundation. Operational since 2010, this initiative has supported 40,183 students by offering scholarships and career development programs, empowering financially challenged students to pursue their academic goals.
In its 2024 phase, the Disha program is set to award 2,200 more scholarships in Mangalore this month, having already distributed 473 scholarships. The foundation evaluates students based on socioeconomic and academic factors to ensure equitable support.
Beyond financial aid, Disha focuses on holistic development, offering mentorship, skill-building, and career counseling for students from primary school to post-graduation. The initiative also emphasises gender participation, with over 50 percent of scholarships awarded to female students across various disciplines.Guided by founder Shashi Kiran Shetty’s vision, the Disha program continues to foster future leaders through education and community partnerships across Maharashtra and Mangalore.
