ACFI South India Conclave in Hyderabad discusses air cargo growth, infrastructure, and sustainability with industry leaders.
The Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) hosted the South India Conclave at Novotel Airport, Hyderabad, on January 31, 2025, bringing together key players from the air cargo sector, regulators, and thought leaders to discuss the industry’s future.
Principal Chief Commissioner, Sandip Prakash, addressed the efforts made by regulators to streamline cargo movement, citing the impressive 92% clearance rate through the Risk Management System (RMS). Guest of Honour, Pradeep Panicker, CEO of Hyderabad Airport, lauded ACFI’s role in driving air cargo growth in India.
The event featured three focused sessions: addressing trade imbalance, building stronger cargo infrastructure in Tier 2 and 3 cities, and fostering a robust air cargo ecosystem. ACFI President Sanjiv Edward stressed inclusive growth, aiming for 10 million tons of air cargo by 2030. Thought leader Satish Lakkaraju and Hyderabad chapter Chairman Kamal Jain highlighted the importance of strategic initiatives and collaboration to meet future challenges. The conclave facilitated valuable discussions, setting the stage for a sustainable air cargo industry in India.
