In a noteworthy shift in leadership, the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) recently convened its 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai. During this AGM, CK Govil, the CMD of Activair Airfreight India, secured the position of President within the association. This leadership transition signifies an important development for ACAAI as it prepares for its 47th Annual Convention, scheduled for November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Additionally, Samir J Shah, a Partner at JBS Group of Companies, has been elected as the Vice President.
As India’s air cargo industry readies itself for the upcoming convention and the challenges and opportunities it brings, these leadership changes will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of ACAAI’s endeavors. Vikram Kumar, Director at CTC Air Carriers, will serve as the Honorary Secretary General, and Praveen Menon has assumed the role of Honorary Treasurer. This leadership transition underscores ACAAI’s commitment to effectively representing the interests of air cargo agents across India.
