A.P. Moller – Maersk, one of the leaders in global logistics, recently completed the acquisition of the Danish Project Logistics specialists, Martin Bencher Group, for an investment of around $61 million. Known for its innovative and technical solutions to move oversized freight globally, Martin Bencher Group has around 31 offices across 23 countries around the globe.
When asked about this acquisition, Peter Thorsoe Jensen, CEO of Martin Bencher, said, “We look forward to becoming an integral part of Maersk. This acquisition would help strengthen A.P. Moller-Maersk’s global footprint as well as diversify its clientele, thus boosting its profitability.
