Four weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Hanoi will start on 3 November 2026.

Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier of Vietnam, is launching operations from Ahmedabad, its fifth station in India. Starting 3 November 2026, it will operate four weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Hanoi, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, providing travellers from Gujarat and neighbouring markets with direct connectivity to Vietnam.
The airline currently serves major Indian markets including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
“India is an increasingly important and strategic market for Vietnam Airlines, with strong growth in travel demand, business exchanges and tourism between the two countries,” said Vietnam Airlines Spokesperson Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager, India.
Aeroprime Group, the Passenger GSA for Vietnam Airlines in India, has been closely supporting the airline’s commercial growth and market development across the country.
More than 4,400 scheduled flights and nearly 820,400 passengers were recorded between India and Vietnam during the first six months of 2026. The launch reflects the airline’s growing confidence in the Indian market.
