MOVIN has launched a multi-layered peak-readiness strategy to support businesses during India’s festive season.

MOVIN, the logistics brand launched as a joint venture between UPS and InterGlobe Enterprises, has announced a multi-layered peak-readiness strategy to support businesses across India during the upcoming festive season. The approach combines infrastructure readiness, data-driven forecasting, contingency planning and customer collaboration, aimed at maintaining predictable transit times and consistent service quality during high-volume periods.
India’s festive season is a key driver of consumption, with increased spending expected across e-commerce, electronics, fashion, consumer goods and gifting. Market growth during the period is expected to reach 20 to 25 per cent, driving a significant rise in shipment volumes.
To meet anticipated demand, MOVIN has strengthened its end-to-end logistics network to support higher volumes with greater speed, flexibility and reliability. The company has expanded capacity across its hubs, strengthened appointment-based deliveries, line-haul corridors and first- and last-mile operations, while securing additional ground fleet and dedicated air cargo capacity on high-demand domestic routes. The network is further supported by trained workforce reserves, flexible shifts and round-the-clock facility operations to help manage fluctuations in volume.
Mr Dilip Sharma, Chief Operating Officer of MOVIN Express, said peak season was the ultimate test of resilience, predictability and partnership. He said the company’s focus was on engineering operational readiness to meet the surge in demand while ensuring consistency, reliability and service excellence, adding that strengthening the network, leveraging technology and working closely with customers and partners had positioned MOVIN to navigate the complexities of peak season.
MOVIN’s preparedness combines technology, planning and network resilience to support uninterrupted operations during the peak period. The company is using centralised control towers and advanced tracking systems for real-time shipment visibility, allowing it to monitor shipments, anticipate disruptions and implement corrective actions. It has also aligned volume forecasts, pickup cut-offs and fulfilment schedules with partners in advance, while deploying contingency plans for weather disruptions, airport congestion and regional route diversions.
The company said these measures strengthen its ability to anticipate demand, adapt to changing conditions and execute at scale, with a focus on ensuring shipments move with greater predictability, reliability and visibility throughout the festive period.
