Blue Dart launches a 50,558 sqm eco-smart hub in Pataudi to boost express logistics, efficiency, and sustainability.

In a major step toward building a sustainable and efficient logistics ecosystem, Blue Dart, South Asia’s premier express air and integrated transportation company, has inaugurated its largest Green Integrated Ground Hub in Pataudi, Haryana. The facility is set to redefine the company’s operational efficiency and sustainability standards across its nationwide express network.
Strategically located just 50 km from New Delhi Airport, the Pataudi hub offers seamless multimodal connectivity with Delhi-NCR and key national expressways. Its location enables Centre of Gravity optimisation, cutting vehicle movement by 30% and improving throughput speed by 10%, making it a critical logistics node for North India’s express cargo movement.
Spanning an impressive 50,558 square metres, the advanced hub integrates e-commerce, domestic express, and ground operations under one roof. Equipped with an auto-sorter capacity of 200,000 shipments per day and the ability to handle 2,283 tonnes daily, the facility is designed to be future-ready till 2033. Advanced automation, motorised conveyors, and streamlined load handovers help reduce dwell time and enhance throughput by 10–15%.
Speaking at the launch, Balfour Manuel, Managing Director, Blue Dart, said,
“The North Integrated Ground Hub is a symbol of sustainability, automation, and scalability. We are enabling faster, more reliable deliveries while supporting India’s economic and environmental goals. This milestone strengthens our role as a trade facilitator, advancing our promise of speed, resilience, and sustainable growth.”
At the heart of the facility is Blue Dart’s GoGreen vision. The hub features a 600 KVA rooftop solar plant, onsite EV charging stations, and natural skylights to reduce energy consumption. By consolidating operations and optimising routes, the company will significantly lower fuel use and emissions, reinforcing its commitment to achieving a net-zero target by 2050.
With a robust network comprising over 250 ground routes, eight dedicated freighters, and reach across 19,000+ pin codes, Blue Dart continues to expand its infrastructure to meet India’s surging logistics demands.
The launch of the Pataudi Green Integrated Ground Hub not only enhances Blue Dart’s operational capability but also reaffirms its leadership in sustainable, technology-driven express logistics, powering faster, greener, and more reliable deliveries across the nation.
