ColdStar sets up two Mumbai and one Sonipat facility to boost F&V and perishables distribution.

ColdStar Logistics, India’s leading independent cold chain operator, has expanded its national network with three new facilities: two in Mumbai and one in Sonipat. The move strengthens the company’s capacity to handle, process, and distribute Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) and perishable products for major e-commerce platforms in the Delhi and Mumbai regions.
The Sonipat unit spans 80,000 sq ft. and can pack 1,70,000 units (65 tonnes) daily. Mumbai’s hubs together handle 2,20,000 units per day, with the F&V hub managing 1,40,000 units and the cold storage unit 80,000 units, bringing the total daily capacity to over 3,200 tonnes. The facilities collectively employ more than 1,100 people.
“Sonipat’s proximity to Delhi NCR and Mumbai’s large consumption base make these locations strategic,” said Sameer Varma, Executive Director, ColdStar Logistics. The expansion reflects ColdStar’s focus on technology-driven, reliable, and fast cold chain solutions, with plans to explore East and Deccan India markets next.
